Ok out of nowhere my mic has not been working. Before this happen it was working fine for 2-3 months. Now I cant hear or talk to anyone but it shows them talking but it has a 0 saying no 1 has a mic. I bought a brandnew mic thinking that was the problem but it is not. the only time i can talk is if i make a game and if i do that half the other players cant even talk!! i read all the stickys and they are not helping me, there has to be a faster/ easyer understanding on how to fix this..plz help socom just aint the same without a mic!!!! thank you
I had the same exact problem. I tried opening up ports, but it didn't work. So my only advice is to get a new router. That's what I did and my mic works fine now.

i have the same problem with my mic. exept mine never worked ive tried opening the ports but that doesnt work. i guess it has something to do with my router, i have a ZyXEL prestige 334w
I bought a new disc(Yes, a new disc) and it worked fine.
I don't now if it was just luck, or anything..but try going to blockbuster, rent a socom, switch disc and see if it works.
If not, it has to be your router, or POSSIBLY the playstation.

lol i bet most of these guys arent spending their money on it. they porably get it from their parents. and if they are spending their own hard earned money on it they its really none of our bussiness.
