I've pretty much played every single MGS, even the old nintendo ones, and yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm passing here.

I do admit with zero that this game is ALOT better than the last MGO, i noticed immediatly. However i dont think people will be shelling out money for this standalone. Maybe if they realesed it on PSN it might have a chance though.

The recent news I heard was that the starter pack in MGS4 IS the game...but more will be added to it later on with updates.

We will just have to wait and see about that. Their original purpose was to make it standalone, and have MGS4 have some type of online. So i wouldnt rule it out just yet.

I played this for 7 hours last night. Sneak is so much fun.
The website said this will come out alongside MGS4.
