Rock Band EASIEST on Expert
Not sure if anyone here plays Rock Band or is a drummer, but I'm a drummer so obviously I was really excited to play the drums on Rock Band. One huge thing I noticed though...if you're a drummer who knows the drum parts of the songs it's easiest if you play on expert since it's most true to the actual beats and fills.
Are there any guitarists who play guitar hero or the guitar part on Rock Band that have the same problem? It doesn't seem like being a guitarist would give you an advantage with the guitar controller.

Well, I wouldn't go out there and call my self a guitarist as I am just beginning but I am an HUGE fan of the band Coheed and Cambria, I chose Hard Score Duel instead of expert and Welcome Home popped up. I know how to play this in real life up to the solo, and Kept over strumming at parts, I got 100% on the solo but again kept overstumming because I know the song so well and my mind just tells me what is coming next and it causes me to overstum.

Ha! That's hilarious! I feel better knowing guitarists suffer too.

yeah, it's pretty sad when you get 100% on a song and still lose

As in, if you know the song.
For example, say you know how to play Another one bites the dust on guitar. Since EXPERT mode is note for note cut for cut, meaning if there is 446 notes in the song for guitar, there will be 446 notes on expert mode but maybe old 430 on hard causing you to overstrum at points
