Trading card game?
(Please move this if it needs to be, no clue where to put it)

I went to my local Game shop on Friday and there was a member of Team PlayStation taking orders for new games, console, etc.

I was stood behind him looking at some games while he was talking to the shop manager. They were talking about how long a game (which has minimal hype) is on the shelves before word gets out and it starts selling.

Anywho, this PS guy started talking about a new trading card game for the PS3 and opened up a PowerPoint presentation on his laptop.

This game is made in association with Hasbro and will ship with the PS3 game, a PS3 camera, a pack of playing cards, and some other stuff that I forget. It will retail for around 60GBP ($120).

There will be a lot of trading cards you can collect, I think he said Transformers was at least one of them.

He says you compete with the other player online to try and get as many squares on the "board" as possible. It didn't really sound really good to me but it just shows how careless these people are with ideas and new information.

I don't know if this game has already been announced or if anyone else has details, but that's all I heard over 2 screaming kids who wanted a pink PS2.

Again, sorry for the lack of information but for those who like trading cards, you may soon have a PS3 game to suit.

yeah i saw that article. that technology looks pretty cool but i very much doubt i will buy it because of the price and also the fact that im not a trading card fan.

i will admit, i think trading card games are lame. but this looks kinda fun. i probably wont get it though. its not my cup of tea.

its crazy how technology has progressed since the new generation of systems has come out.
