Recommended RPG's?
Hi, Im not really a Big RPG guy but I've played games like FFXlll, Legend Of Dragoon, and .HACK (1st One). I've seen the trailer for the new one for PS3 "FolkLore" but that's not out yet. Is there any I should check out for now?

Even though they are considered "last gen" games, I think the Shin Megami Tensei series is a damn fine collection of RPGs...

You should definitely check out Kingdom Hearts 1 and Kingdom Hearts 2. They are both available for the PS2 and are extremely entertaining games. Don't let the Disney characters in the game turn you off, otherwise you'll be missing out on two great gaming experiences.

Great recommendations... I have never personally played either Kingdom Hearts game, but my brother's said nothing but good things about either one of those games.

Most of the good JRPGs are from the past generations. : (
The Shadow Hearts series is a must-play.
I'd recommend Xenosaga too, but it has a little too much religio-technobabble and the 2nd one was a disappointment.
Shin Megami Tensei, definitely. Including the Persona series.

Here are some others you might want to check out. Some of the ones I'll name may be a little "dated" for some tastes but I recommend them on story and fun factor alone (big big big factors in a good rpg imo).
Legand of Legia 1 and or 2
Dragon Warrior VIII <--loads of fun. Easily in my top ten if not top five.
Lunar 1 AND 2 <-- both are top notch even though they originally date back to old sega CD system. Should be able to find collector's editions compatable with your system though.
Vagrant Story <--- if ever a game needed to be redone on a next gen system it's this one. Great story. Deep gameplay. Easy to get into, hard to master. Easily one of the most underrated/underhyped games ever...unless you are into rpgs that is. It's got more of an action/adventure feel to it but as deep as it gets it can easily spill into the rpg category. (top three in my all time favs)
You've played some of the other ones I would have suggested and other posters have suggested some good ones too. Not sure what system(s) you have but if you happen to have an 360 I would highly recommend The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Unlike anything I've ever played. Loved it so much, went out and got Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. As the Mickey D's commercial would say..."bah dah bah bah bah...I'm lovin' it!"

If Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire and Kingdom Hearts are not your cup of tea you could try the Grandia series.
