I know there was a mouse for the first PlayStation but I don't think there was a specific one for the PS2. The addition of USB ports with the PS2 just meant finding any ol' random mouse that worked. I never did though.
Anywho.
I think the best part about this game so far is the detail that has gone into it. Most games like this, you see random people falling down all over the place when they are in a group. In this game, each "character" is pretty much individually mowed down or whatever. I may have missed AOE3, but from what I see it still pretty unique to the genre.
I think the only real problem that faces me now if choosing console or computer.
The only real reason why I would get it for console is because my friends who are getting it have crappy computers that can't even run Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 (like a million years old) so I won't be able to play with them online if I get it for the computer. The only other alternative is bashing Microsoft into putting that new XBL-computer thingy on this game and let me play PC Vs. Console and see who wins!
