Ace Combat 6 NOT on PS3
It is in fact being released on the XBoX360 and has multiplayer (online) modes. I think its coming out later in the year on the 360 and there is absolutely no news on a ps3 release and game reviewers are treating it as a xbox exclusive. And this is going to be the best ace combat game ever made, no doubts because its played online with free for all, co-op and team battle modes. I can sort of understand why the game is on the 360, xbox live can obviously support such a game and with sony's online track record....well yer. If namco don't release any ace combat titles on the ps3 and socom ends up being a complete blowout, I dont think i will buy the ps3. These are pretty much the only two console game series I played on my ps2. =*(

You should still get a PS3. I have only one exclusive game but I'm happy with mine. Chances are, Namco isn't going to miss the oppurtunity to cash in on a PS3 edition of AC6.

I've got some news for you, it's only a timed exclusive on the 360. If none of you don't know what that means, it means that the 360 will have it for awhile, then it will come to the PS3.

Think of how Oblivion was. It was out on the 360, then came to the PS3. A timed exclusive.

Here's the link: http://http://kotaku.com/gaming/ace-...ive-250945.php
the link doesn't work but i googled it. Cool then, because I am not getting any console for a while anyway. Does anyone know if ps3 online is any better than ps2 online. Since the ps3 is region free (apart from dvds) does that mean that I (having a pal playstation) play against some americans or japanese players?

Well, I just tried putting the link in this post, and it still won't work.

SUNUVABITCH!

Well, if any of you want to read the article, go to kotaku.com, then do a search on "Ace Combat 6." Read the first article (has a pic from Top Gun).

Or better yet, I'll just copy and paste the article. ME SO SMARTS!11!

OXM Says Ace Combat 6 Is 360 (Timed) Exclusive

The latest Official Xbox Mag has a whopping great preview of Ace Combat 6 for the 360, and also the not-very-unexpected-at-all-really news that it's exclusive for the 360. Well...it's a timed exclusive. I'm of the opinion that a timed exclusive isn't really an exclusive at all, but then I'm also of the opinion a man can wear sandals and socks if the weather permits, so make of that what you will.

In the end, while the 360 version gets all the glory in first place, both consoles get Ace Combat 6, Namco makes twice as much money, everyone's happy. Luke Plunkett

there are new screens out for this game. they look amazing. And there seems to be a lot more chaos in the battlefield which you must control. there seem to be several minor battlefields and you have to think about which target/area is most strategically important. this gives the player more freedom and involves them more since they have to make so many crucial decisions that can turn the tide of battle, or make your job a lot easier or a lot harder. Online mode will be awesome and i hope they have support for usb headset. Also your allies are a lot more helpful simply because there are a lot more than there used to be in the past AC games. You have tanks, planes, choppers and warships helping you out and there are quite a few of them too
