Oblivion help (PS3)

I have just liberated back Vkatch and taken the count's ring to the captain. I can't seem to find Martin anywhere. I have checked the chapel and he isn't there. Any help with this?

Why? It's an RPG, the last time I checked... I moved it to the RPG section.

When you go to liberate the castle (which you've obviously done), all the civilians (Martin included) get moved to the camp at the bottom of the hill. He should be right down there waiting for you.

I never noticed him there, well I'm past that now, thanks for your help.

Oblivion really doesn't seem like a traditional RPG to me.

I already took Martin to Cloud Ruler Temple, but I need help with Kvatch too. I'm at the castle gate trying to liberate it, but the guard captain wont help. I'm supposed to get to the gate with him and then I presume that we do something, but he's under the gate trying in vain to get at innumerable monsters on the top of the wall. I've killed a large number of them with fireballs and many have fallen off of the wall as well, but they keep coming and he wont let me continue the quest. I abandoned him and rode to Skingrad last night, but the game froze when I got there. I wont to it again because it still said that there were enemies around (preventing rest or fast travel) even when I was safely inside Skingrad.
