I am level 56 right now.

On my second playthrough, and I am doing a lot more sidequests to try and get the Completionist achievement.

I haven't had a chance to play the past few days. I can't wait to go home from work and have a Mass Effect marathon.
From looking at the Galaxy Map it's looks like I have alot game left to finish.

It amazes me to hear how far you are in the game Zero.

I like this game a lot, but after looking back at some older videos of an older version of it, I realised it was an almost COMPLETE DOWNGRADE. I kinda lost a lot of my respect for this game. If it was similiar to this video, it could easily be GOTY.

In the video, here are a list of things that were better and worse compared to the final version.

Better than final game:
Better galaxy map interface
Better sound effects
Better effects on biotic powers
Better effects on enemies (How they desintigrated in the vid)
You could interupt people during chat (Can't do that in the final game)
Better conversation tree
A better interface is brought up when strategically placing your squad members (Final version is just point and click and they never stay where they are supposed to)
You are able to control your squad members, and use their abilities freely
The mako landing scene looks cooler
Battle Music is better

Worse than final game:
Shepards inhumanly large cheek bones
Ashley's voice
The horrible aim assist
And maybe the graphics (But hard to tell in this vid)

The game is awesome as is, I don't care what a trailer from an SDK Xbox looks like.

Zero, I often wonder if you were ever to be handed a million dollars, you'd find a reason to complain about it.

Now I know what you really meant Zero by the annoyingly long cut scenes that you can't skip past. I rescued Dr. T'soni and I get Destoyed by that Krogan Battle Master everytime. And I have to sit through that crap every time. I restarted an old save point so I can try to better equip myself and my loyal companions.
I also save every 2 minutes now because I learned the hard way with the always reliable " Cannot Read Disc " message.

Thankfully I've never gotten the disk read error with the game.

Always do a save before you purchase any armor. That way if you don't like how it looks, you can load and get your money back. I also recommend saving anytime you recover something while exploring a planet, or after clearing a large batch of enemies.

You can skip through dialogs by pressing X. You still have to make your selections, but it cuts down on the talk-time.

I think I'll be spending some time with this tonight.

Do you guys/girls think this game is worth getting? I was thinking about getting it a couple of days ago. I don't know if I should get Assassins Creed or Mass Effect?

I just got the best of both worlds by buying both Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect. I must say, I love Mass Effect. I only just started playing as an Infiltrator and darn is that sniper rifle hard to use. I suppose I'll get used to it but again, I love the game.
