its called GUITAR hero for a reason not normal sony playstation 2 dualshock analog controller hero. Playing with a normal controller takes all the fun out of the game.

I have an original GH1 SG and it works perfect for me with no mess up's. I'm also very smooth with my whammy bar. I can get maximum speed and star power withdrawl without even smashing the bar.

i bought gh3 and after half an hour of playing it the f***ing wammy broke.it wasnt cheap either.it costed $100 to get the bloody guitar and its already f***ing broken.

this happened to my friend. so now his original guitar hero guitar controller, he needs to move the whammy back and forth. it doesn't pop back up anymore.
