Im pickin this one up later today.

World Series of Poker comes out today along with the Xbox 360 Live Vision camera.

Hmmm... I might have to look and see how much extra cash I have this week.

I was actually thinking about picking up a copy of The Godfather on 360, simply because of all the additions that they made to it; when compared to the earlier PS2 & Xbox versions of it.

Yeah, I saw copies of this game at the store yesterday when I got out of work... they're selling for $40.

Looks like I might pickup a copy of it sometime this weekend. That is, depending on whether or not veins (Libertine) thinks it's worth the purchase.

C'mon veins... what do you think of it?

Too busy stripping.............the paint off my outdoor railings that is..Havent had anytime...

also, still waiting for the Camera..my local EB didnt get it in yet. Im thinkin about using my Cat's face as the Generated Poker Face... how funny would that be to see...

I'll let u know soon..maybe by late tonight.

From the sounds of last night's conversation, Veins is "sold" on the game. It also apppears that Creep and I will be buying it in the near future...........it will be a forum takeover!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A copy of this "WSOP 2007" game arrived at my house while I was out of town visiting JAKKMOVE... I'll play it this afternoon after I get out of work and post my opinions. Can't wait...

I can't say that I am overly impressed by this game... I played it late last night, and honest to God, it put me to sleep. I swear to you... I fell asleep on my office floor for about an hour! People that complained about the pace of the Texas Hold 'em game on XBL should see how slow this game is. It could be compared to a race between two turtles... they're both that slow.

I don't think it's that much of an improvement on last year's WSOP game, either.

The voice overs are horrible, too... Chris "Jesus" Ferguson doesn't really sound like he does in real life, the WSOP hosts look sub-human... I don't know what human looks as "fake" as the two of them do.

Perhaps it might be better playing against live opponents... maybe I will take some No-Doz pills and give it a try again tonight. Who knows?

Creep, you can set the timer to 15 seconds for ranked games.. instead of the default 60 seconds. The same settings you have for "Player matches" can be set for "Ranked matches". For instance if you have a $25,000 buy in game. You can set the initial bets to 200/400 instead of the default 20/40. Which makes the game take 6 hours. Also, the more players there are , the more money first place gets. This is why when I create a game, I abort it if it is 10 people or less. The 3 table tournaments are a ton of fun if played right and with cool peeps. (21 players maximum)

In order to carry over your "Player Match" settings over to "Ranked Match".. You have to set them first under Player Match..Make it like your going to Create a game...and then hit the B button to back out of there...go to "Ranked Match" and set your remaining options there.. And do your search. You MUST be the first person in the room..If you are not, then you will not be host and your "Player Options" will not carry over.

The first time I played, I experienced the same as you and couldnt believe how long it took for ranked matches. Once you lower the Timer and increase the initial bets, it is much better.

Actually, I was talking about the "career mode" of the game being soooooo damn slow.

Quick question... do you get to use your created player (from the career mode) in the online games against actual human opponents?

(I still think this game isn't much of an improvement... but I purchased it from GameFly for less than $30.)
