Dance Dance Revolution
I figured this part of the forum was proper for a DDR thread.

Anyway, who here on these forums play Dance Dance Revolution? I myself play it, and say that I'm an ametuer(SP?), I can do most songs on light mode and some on standard, and maybe one on heavy (It depends though). My favorite song that I like right now is Akira Yamaoka's, Injection of Love(Hina Mix), I like teeat to the song and it's one of those catchy tunes that don't have lyrics. So far I own 3 of the DDR games, Max2, Extreme, and Extreme 2. Other of my favorite songs include Hysteria, Break Down, Anything by Captain Jack, and Dive. Also I own DDR 4th Mix CD, which is an ok CD, some of the songs I don't like though.

Anyway, what is your favorite DDR song, what level can you dance at, what is your best score on a song? How many DDR games do you own? Do you own any of the CD's to DDR?

Discuss, Double

I own Max and Max 2. I can pass just about every song on heavy. I'm currently building my own DDR pad, which will be arcade quality when it is finished.

I find that 90% of all good DDR players are fat people and that completely blows my mind because this game takes stamia and coordination. Can anyone explain this phenomenon to me?

Well, I am pretty damn sure that it isn't 90 percent. Anyways, if they play DDR for a long time, they might not necessarily be skinny, but they gain a lot of stamina. When you start as a beginner and work your way up, when you are good enough for a lot harder songs, you can handle it by then.

If you saw everyone I see playing DDR then you would sure as hell think it's 90%

Hey, would you mind posting some details when it's finished? Like what you used, measurements, total cost, etc...I've been wanting to build my own as well. Those home pads are nothing short of crap :D
