It wasnt more of a verbal reply, as it was you just choosing your answer and them reply to it. But it still made events in the game different based on your answer. Such as when Chopper asks you about that "Face of the Coin" song (which is really Puddle of Mudd's "Blurry"). If you reply to a certain answer, it takes you to that mission it coincides to.

Anyone else feel like "Oh Crap" when their team member gets shot down over the stadium? Man, he was a real hero.

yea i play ace combat 5. ace combat zero is gonna come out in PAL in like a month so ill be getting that...takes forever. the cool thing in AC5 are the naval missions, nothing more fun than taking out a whole fleet and landing on aircraft carriers etc. The storyline is the best...to be honest ace combat is the only high scoring (9.3 IGN AC5) dogfighting series on ps2 and PC. Also love how you can purchase planes and unlock them, sorta like Gran turismo, and u can buy planes for the rest of ur squadron and control wat they fly. The radio chatter + high speed explosions + superb graphics and sound make the game extremely enjoyable.

good old f-14 :P A lot of cool planes in the game and some awesome variants ... love the sukhoi series, F - series and some of the french/european planes are nice too.

I found the end level insanely hard, maybe it was just me being retarded.

I just bought a Typhoon and i beat the game with it. The end level was confusing for me, it took me like 7 tries.

Probably one of my favorite franchises. But I only have 4 :(. Isn't 5 the Belkan War? If it is, i definatly agree.

No, it's those damn tunnels with their walls right where we were trying to fly.

There was actually one more level wher eyou had to fly head on against Solo Wing Pixy and then shoot at his air intakes... it' was ******** and took me forever.
