Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm

This is the new Naruto game, which is going to be exclusive to the PS3...

and all I can say is........wow

This game looks AMAZING for just a standalone fighter to those who don't even like Naruto. The gameplay is ridiculously fluid. If you like the series, this seems like a must buy.

The battlefields are going to be really good.

I read you can jump on trees and stuff to get away from the enemy and do all sorts of things in the enviornment.

Can't wait, this game might actually be good...

The demo is going to be available on Qore in the next week or so. For everyone else 2 weeks after that.

Wow, I havent posted on this forum for a while but man, does this game look awesome. I'm planning on getting the latest Qore episode asap so I can try it. Has anyone played the demo yet?

I have, and the game is surprisingly good.

The only thing that is preventing this game from looking just like the anime is the lack of AA (or the small amount of it).

Animations and gameplay are very very smooth. No frame rate dips, etc etc.

The demo didn't include that many different moves and jutsus, but it has been confirmed that you unlock more when you progress through the story.

i just played the demo, i think this is the first naruto game i'm actually into, i had alot of fun doing resengan in awakening mode lol kakashi just freaking flew across the map :O

I can't stop playing this game. My friend and I play it for at least an hour everytime he comes over to my house. I just can't wait for the full game to come out so we can play with some new characters.

The fighting engine on this game is really great and the backrounds are perfect. This is definitly going to outshine the xbox 360's naruto.

Some new videos have surfaced on IGN (IGN: Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trailer, Videos and Movies) and the game looks better than ever! I noticed that now you can enter awakening mode when you have two life bars left instead of having to be on your last life bar to enter awakening mode as it was in the demo. This is great since it was always difficult to enter awakening mode with only one life bar left. The new characters look great in battle and that cutscene looks amazing.

gamestop can go straight to ****ing hell, i hope it gets hit by a damned nuke, them bastards don't have what i reserved because a little ***** decided to go and steal ****, so my copy got ****ing stolen and now they are short of 2, and the rest were picked up today, so i'm extremely pissed, no wait i'm beyond pissed, i'm about to find out who this little kid is and bash his damned head through a window and cut his damned head off!

Now that's some Naruto Passion! I'll be picking up my copy soon and I think I'll post my opinion on here soon after that.

So i've had the game for a while now and I'm just about 100% complete. Here is what I think:

Pros
- Graphics are amazing and truly like the actual anime
- Japanese voices are great
- Battles are fun and action-packed, ESPECIALLY with a friend
- The story mode is interesting and follows the anime somewhat closely, although it's not detailed

Cons
- The story mode is VERY repetative and it can be frustrating to go through the mini-games so many times
- Battles are more casual and mostly have button-mashing (but this could be a pro as well)
- No online play
- Not very many cutscenes to show off the graphics
- Even with the 3.7 GB install load times are long and often

Overall I'd give the game an 8/10. An 8 seems right since the game is fun, has very nice graphics, and is definately not an average game (if 7 is average). The story is interesting if you've never seen the anime, but if you have seen it it's basically to a way just unlock all the characters and extras. The best part of this game would have to be the multiplayer as well as the amazing graphics. Naruto fans should definately pick this up. Even if you're not a fan, if you enjoy fast, hectic fighting games you will enjoy this game.
