i want to get Nascar 08 cuse but i find out that Nascar 09 comes out 6/10/08 and im wandering if i should just buy it or keep renting it and i dont know if I waill rent it so much that i should just buy it ........OR........wait for 09 to come out......Or just buy 08 and buy 09 when it comes out |

Rep Power: 8 | For anyone that doesn't know, the demo came out for Nascar 09. It's way better than Nascar 08, you can tell in the first 5 seconds that the game play is much improved. The only complaint I have is that I wish there was a camera view that zooms out a tad more on the car. I hate having my car so close up, but it's really just a personal problem. ______________________ | |

It's a pretty big disappointment being a race fan, too. IGN's review was pretty unfavorable. I downloaded the demo and think I'll have to agree -- it's a big snoozefest.

Yes, the spotters are terribly inaccurate as always, but the graphics and playability are way up from last game. Game Informer gave Nascar an 8, which is right around where I'd put it.
