Oh, and a couple guys at OS have been trying to hack the roster saves to make uneditable things editable. So if that goes through I'll share it with you guys.

I've heard that this roster update will happen on April 6th, so I guess we will all have to wait and see... and after seeing Fukudome's first game on Monday afternoon, I am hoping that he is a big offensive upgrade compared to having Mark DeRosa patrolling right field.
(No offense to DeRosa, but I'd rather have him at second base.)
I was also glad to see that Reed Johnson is a nice improvement over Felix Pie in center field... does anyone else smell trade bait? I know I do...

yeah I've already done that too. I didn't mess to much with the face editor, however I did make him and he's pretty close to what I think the new rosters will have him at. 96mph fast ball with a whicked change, and a pretty good slider.

Thats sweet, and one more thing, when did you say that the minor league rosters will be done at operation sports?
Probably next week. And about three days later they'll release another set that has more attribute edits than the first.
And I'll probably start a secondary franchise or season, probably season, with the Braves (the team I grew up watching - gotta love those national stations (WGN, TBS) in small towns) since the roster update with rookies is coming out tomorrow morning.

Rosters are up now. Just downloaded them. The rookies look like they were just thrown together. For instance, they made Cueto white (he's from the Dominican) and the face is really really off. I've looked at Cueto and Fukudome and neither were given a commentary name.
Also find it weird that as soon as you give them a commentary name, you can no longer edit their appearance.

I feel like I'm stoned now or something. As soon as you give someone a commentary name then press start to save and exit, the face becomes almost spot on. But the only downfall to it is you can't go back and edit that player's appearance, just equipment and ratings.

I must have checked the rosters before you posted this, because they were still the same ones from March 31st... I downloaded the new ones a few hours ago, and I'm very happy with the way they created Fukudome... he started off a lot colder than his first MLB game in real life, but he's getting better.
Wound up crushing a grand slam off of Ben Sheets in the Opening Day game with Aramis Ramirez... the final was something like 11-1 or 12-1. Funny thing is, the game started off very close... it was tied at 1 well into the fifth or sixth inning.
Here's my batting order on the young season:

Lee

Yeah I noticed a lot of the players are nothing what they look like in apperance, however I haven't tried the commentary name yet however. I just started my new season with the reds with the new rosters today, couldn't wait until the minor league rosters, i'll have to get those later. The bad part is, I started a franchise with the yankee's and now have two to play, oh well, I'll focus on my reds one. I'll have to get the players attribute's from players such as Bruce and Janish and such from you later Irish.
Also Irish, who is the third basemen for the AAA Reds team with this new roster update, according to his overall rating, he's damn good, and I'm trying to figure out who thats suppsed to be, or if it's just random.

I totally disagree... after looking at the Cubs' roster the other night (after being disappointed with not having Fukudome), the players look more like their real life counterparts than MLB2K8's models ever could hope for.

Cueto is way off. There were some people at OS saying Fukudome didn't even look Asian.
Frosting, the 3B for the Louisville Bats (Reds AAA) is Adam Rosales. He hit .294 in A ball and .278 in AA last season in 136 games. Hitting .250 in four this year.

Got some rosters that are from Monday's update, but with all the equipment back on the players, as well as some created players.
Steps to get them on your PS3

Well... his skin has a yellow-ish tint to it, and they have the thick eyebrows on him. Looks close enough to me, and I consider my vision to be pretty damn close to 20/20.
I just lost my first game of the season, making the Cubs 2-1 on the season... I just couldn't win the last game of the opening series with the Brewers in extra innings, no less. Friggin' J.J. Hardy was a beast, going 4-5 against me - with an RBI double, and the game winning solo HR in the 12th.
