Yeah I to am wondering if there is a new roster update for opening day, or the 31st

There's supposed to be a new update tomorrow and another one on April 7th. The one on April 7th will have all the rookies and Japanese imports (Fukudome) since they'll have MLB experience and be a part of the MLBPA.

I've heard that this roster update will happen on April 6th, so I guess we will all have to wait and see... and after seeing Fukudome's first game on Monday afternoon, I am hoping that he is a big offensive upgrade compared to having Mark DeRosa patrolling right field.

(No offense to DeRosa, but I'd rather have him at second base.)

I was also glad to see that Reed Johnson is a nice improvement over Felix Pie in center field... does anyone else smell trade bait? I know I do...

Confirmed as the 7th by the developers (unless they posted something that I missed). Either way, I hope I can get my hands on the full minors set being done over at OS next week. If not, I'll just work with the downloads so I can use Johnny Cueto (finally).

Found this article to be pretty funny... it comes from the Los Angeles Times... give it a read, if you'd like to laugh. They called MLB 2K8 the video game equivalent of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Ha Ha, thats good stuff. The problem is, I'm allready over half way through (3 days after allstar game) my season with the reds. I might have to start over, however due to the fact that the new rosters will be out. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.

I've been waiting for Fukudome to be added... I refuse to start a franchise without having him on the Cubs' roster.

Yeah if I had any sort of patience I would hav ewaited also, however patience is not my strong suit.

And is it just me, or is literally every game you play a night game. I have a franchise going with the reds, and I'm in August, I think I've played like 2 day games all year

I can't remember exactly which baseball game it was, but a few years ago it seemed like there were never any night games being played in my season.

Oh well... it could be worse... you could be playing 2K8, and sitting around sitting on your thumbs, just waiting for the game to be patched - so it's even close to being remotely playable.

It's getting rather brutal over there on the 2K Sports forums... almost turning into a borderline bloodbath, with people demanding answers why their game is such a bug ridden P.O.S.
