Awesome I found some other fans of this game! What features are you most looking forward to......For me it's the enhanced 'Road to the Show' and the new hot and cold streak hitting....Plus I think it is awesome that you are going to be able to save the game mid-game!
I downloaded the PS3 demo last night and it's great. Graphics are great, even on my TV (see gaming setup thread). The crowd is done very nicely. They even go for home run and foul balls. I also caught a glimpse of a beach ball in the left field foul seats.

GameCrazy has this listed as a 2/28 release. Luckily there's one about 10 minutes from my house, so I'm going to call them up and see if they have any in stock or plan on having any today. If so, I'll probably pick it up this afternoon.

Looks like somebody caught on. A lot of the people at OS are saying it got pushed back to the street date of March 4, even though they were told it would be sold today.

Well Irish it's good to see another Reds fan in the forum. I wonder if they'll have Josh Fogg in the rotation, or it they'll still have him with the Rockies. Nothing a quick roster update can't fix I guess. Anyways, I was looking at the gamestop forum today and I noticed some people saying they already have the game. Can anyone say "jealus".
Might be a hoax, but if it's not, I really hate them all.
I actually have a 42'in Plasma Hitatchi TV. I noticed when I played the demo after downloading it, there is a slight delay in the swining and pitching. When I press x to swing, or x to pitch, there is a slight delay.
I have to turn the pitching speed all the way down and other SLIDERS as well in order to be able to bat. So sometimes, I might want to play it on my little 20' Sanyo regular TV in my bed room.
However, turning the pitching speed down really actually helps and makes it playable on my TV. It sucks though because I don't get any "game lag" with COD4, oh well. Still can't wait.

Plenty of people there have been able to get the game early. Actually, as soon as I reserved my copy at GameStop, someone posted that they found it at a mall about 15 minutes away from me. Oh well. Two days.

The guy at my GameStop was confused on what day the 3rd was (which is Monday), so I might call up tomorrow and see if it's in. And give me a few minutes and I'll get the pictures.
Well, I couldn't possibly think that I could get any more excited about this game then I already am...however I have seemed to prove myself wrong once again.

Also I wonder if their going to have Jay Bruce, the 1st round pick last year by the Reds, and the Minor Leage player of the year in this game, I hope they do. One of the best young prospects in the game today. If you go to the Reds website, they have him listed as 2nd on the depth chart.

He won't be in the game. He didn't get any playing in in the majors, so he was never a part of the MLBPA. But there's a group of 3 people at Operation Sports that do full minors rosters. They plan on having them out around Opening Day. I'm just glad Homer Bailey will be in since he got some playing time.
As for my franchise, I always look to trade to improve the team. But this year I really like them all around. I might still try to add some pitching.
