OMG

LMFAO

I almost got played on the hidden ball trick.

I got a lead-off triple. The third basemen went over to talk to the pitcher with Hudler saying "...the third baseman is going to talk to the pitcher about how he wants to play with the lead-off runner on third." The third baseman makes the motion of putting the ball in the pitcher's glove. The camera switches to the third base coach talking to Keppinger and just yells at him to get back and the next thing I know the third baseman is holding the ball.

Now that's adding the little things that make games so great.

Oh, and the previous inning (4th inning) I put up 10 runs after having only 3 hits in the first 3 innings.

*EDIT*

Yes, I like to keep score

I'll take a wild guess here and guess that Jason Marquis was pitching this game, because he gives up more runs than a wild prom date gives up the booty.

Either that, or it was Ted Lilly pitching... he's another one...

Ryan Dumpster...err...Demptser

Here's pitching stats...

Chicago Cubs___IP____H___R___ER__BB__SO
Dempster_____3.2___10___9___9___1____3
Lieber________1.1___4____2___2___0____0

My started didn't do much better though...

Cincinnati Reds__IP____H___R___ER__BB__SO
Shearn_______3.0____10__4____4___0___3
Affeldt_______1.1_____1__1____1___0____1

I've been having trouble at the #4 spot in the rotation. In 3 starts so far my #4 guy (Josh Fogg for 2 and now Shearn) haven't been able to muster out 5 full innings. So I'm thinking when my next off day rolls around (which is probably quite a ways away since this Cubs game comes right after a day off) I'll either be going to a 4-man rotation with Harang, Arroyo, Cueto and Volquez or be sticking Affeldt in the #4 or #5 spot. Affeldt has been good out of the pen both times Fogg left early.

Didn't get to finish it though since I had to go to work. <3 to the in-game saves.

Also can't wait to get back to GABP. In the 6 games I've played on the road, I haven't scored more than 4 runs in 5 of them. Yet I'm 3-3 on the current road trip (would be 4-2 if the bullpen didn't fall apart in Pittsburgh).
