Not to mention he hit 30 homers at age 50, and had 1,222 homers. DAMN.

I think that, that guy should go for 1337 career home runs. That would be so awesome!

In the minor leagues too

Anyway, I'm off to a 7-4 start in my Reds franchise. Just picked up a 3-2 win over the Pirates thanks to Adam Dunn.

I've already brought Jay Bruce up since he was hitting well and Corey Patterson (my lead off man) was down near .100 - and yeah, I sent down Patterson.

I also sent down Josh Fogg and brought up Tom Shearn. I couldn't locate a pitch with Fogg. 3.1 IP in start number one against the Phillies and 2.1 IP in start two against the Brewers.

I had a 35 INNING game Sunday night. Took about 4 hours against the Rangers. The game's final score was only 4-3 (it was 3-3 at the end of the 9th). Richie Sexson who I got as a free agent got the base winning hit. He was my last, and main pitch hitter (backup to Casey Kotchman). Sexson got Ray Durham home from second. My starter JP Howell went 13 inning giving up only two runs, Brett Tomko got the win though, pitching the last 5 innings or so. I only had 7 hits, and the Rangers had 4. David Wright's average went down from a .345 to a .316.

After this game, I'm taking a little break from the show.

Jesus H. Christ... are you playing with the stock difficulty sliders? My god... having to play a 35 inning baseball game almost sounds like a punishment they would give out in hell.

My friend found some sliders online and came over my house and set them up. All the games have been very realistic, batting and pitching wise. It's just this game all pitchers seem to have bought their A game.

I'm thinking of playing a game tonight. Maybe simulate a few and then play. That game was literally the length of 4 games.
