Yup just did it today. Already got the day off of work on the 14th just so I can play it all day lol. Does anyone know if 08' or the new 2k will have the helmet view?

I also have reserved my copy and getting it for the PS3. Looks good from the screenshots and previews that I have seen.

Not pre-ordered for me, but I figure I'll go trade in Madden 06 and 07 for this the day of or a couple days after the release.
Dan, been a while since we played Socom together. How about a game of Madden sometime?

Yea, helping, errrr Irish lol. I haven't even been on socom for months so a game of Madden with you would be great. Anytime you want to play I can, it just has to be after 4.

man I messed up, I used up all my money and now I have to wait until next week to grab the new madden..... Well i guess in the mean time I might as well just rent it, if they have it.

Madden 08 isn't that great... it seems way too much like 07, at least for the PS2. The player weapons thing is cool even though it's hard to remember what means what, and franchise mode seems a bit better... I just wished they would have worked on the superstar mode.
