Madden '08 (360)

I'm very hesitant on getting this game. For one, I have a stupid wireless adaptor that doesn't let me play madden online to begin with. Two, I played it at a friends house today and it seems very much the same as the last game. Three, I have to pay off Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, etc. So I don't know, Madden may wait a year.

It's more polished and worth the purchase to me. The Tackling, and play calling are much improved. I haven't tapped much else into the online playing because when one friend leaves another one comes by.

Annoyances
Special Teams still isn't special
Blatant advertising that doesn't fit into the game. If not before Why Now ?
The sideline animations and graphics are PS2 worthy.
Player Icons are not necassary.

After playing the awesome BioShock Demo I would hold off and make a renter out of Madden 08 for now, buy a used copy.

yeah I'm not a fan of the player icons. I hardly knew what they meant. I tried the mini games I was a fan of on 07 and there is absolutely nothing different with them. Alas, I was doing lawns for my uncle yesterday and he said he'd just get it for me if I mowed the rest of the year. So I guess I'm getting it.

It's a pretty good buy, I haven't really done anything since I picked it up. Superstar mode is basically the same. Franchise is almost the same cept this has fantasy draft (360's 07 didn't) and training your players is a bit more realistic? It's SOOOO much smoother, the icons are okay they don't do much, just flash when you do something cool with them. Currently I'm wrecking online but I'm going away until Thursday. Until then send me a friend request and we'll organize something when I get back.

I got it today, nothing special in my opinion... it continues to be the only game I can't play online due to a slow connection from my piece of junk wireless adaptor. Go Microsoft accessories!

one day Murk I won't be lazy and take my xbox down stairs for a bit and plug it in to a ethernet cord. When I do this I will dethrone you!

I just got Madden 08 for the 360 yesterday..

Still getting use to it, the last Madden I owned was 07, but it stopped working a LONG time ago..so I SUCK now :D

And yesterday, when I was playing franchise with my favourite team(Panthers OF COURSE!) against the giants..my God....did I get lucky.

Giants were in possession of the ball, 1st down, inches from the goal line, I used Flat Buzz as my def. play, luckily they ran the ball and their RB got DOGPILED.

Then, a fumble, right at the goal line, Panthers retrieved it, and I ran the whole field for a touchdown.

It...was....awesome...

And anyone, feel free to add me a for a few games of Madden, I still need Madden buddies! :D
