Tiger Woods 2007 HELP!

I'm having alot of problems playing tiger woods 07. I love golf so i don't wanna give up on this game. I have a few questions.

- HOW DO YOU CANCEL SPIN on your shot. Like after you start spin while the ball is in air, is there a way to stop it from spinning?

-Everythime I use a low iron/ wood club it seems like the ball goes 50 yards short of where I aimed. Im getting a full swing and contact but it will come up way short.

-And finally is there a way to turn off slice and hook because it seems the slightest movement in the backswing causes a huge slice or hook on the ball.

You can't turn hook off a slice. It's in the game. Also you can't cancel spin. I don't know about the 2nd point.

Actually, there is a way to cancel out spin..sort of...

When you hit the ball, and you start to put spin on it, then realize you don't want spin, just make it spin the opposite way.

Say your on a par 4, second shot going for the green and you put some frontspin on the ball thinking that it will get closer to the hole, but you then realize that it will roll straight past the hole, just cancel out the frontspin by adding backspin.

That's what I used to do on 05/06...I haven't tried 07 on PS yet..so it may not work, just try it.

Yea but that's not cancelling spin, that is making it spin the other way, so no there isn't a way.

i need to know if there's a way to swap the shot sticks on the ps3. i've looked through all the options and such but i don't see the option anywhere.
