Tony Hawk's Project 8 (PS2)
Worst. Game. Ever.

The graphics look like cartoons for starters. Secondly, there is ZERO difference from previous games. I thought this one was supposed to be different, more realistic, anything. Sure, they took out the backflips, but everything else still blows.

I can barely get over the graphics, the games have always looked decent, if not good. Now it looks like a cartoon, adding to the stupid kid feel the game developed in TH3 and has been progressing through since then.

The worst thing is, these morons can't even label tricks correctly. Frontside and Backside spins are backwards, which anyone that ever skated would know the difference of.

Bottom line.... they're still just popping these games out, and not bothering to better them in any way. Don't waste your time, if anything, rent it like I did and laugh at how sad this franchise has become.

Does it have an online mode? I know they don't have one for the PS3 version, so I'd assume they wouldn't have it for the PS2 version either. But I lost interest in the TH series after THUG2..it's a decent game now, seemed worse when I first got it but I thought it's a lot worse than THUG, and THAW just takes the cake for worst game in the series, by far.

I didn't see one. main Menu had... 4 options I think. Career, Free Skate, 2 player, and create. As far as I know, you can only create a skater, not a park anymore.

I barely played it though, I jumped into a free skate right away and saw how horrid it was, then quit to the menu. Noticed it looked like garbage, and turned off my PS2.

THPS2 is still > all other Tony Hawk games.

Edit -

FU CRAZY MARKER! I didn't see it :)

Oh come on, THPS4 was good. Don't get down on that one! I thought that was definitely the best one. After that I think they really went downhill mainly because you could beat them all in a day if you tried. THPS4 actually took a while and took skill imo. I was wary of this new game after I got my magazine Game Informer in the mail and noticed that it looked kind of lame...that and the magazine said it blew pretty hard. Sorry you had to go through all that you did Bob. I guess someone had to take one for the team though .

Best music ever. Best levels ever.

THPS2 > all

To be honest... I only played THPS4 like 3 times on my friends Xbox, I don't remember much of it.
