I would never sign a deal with EA Sports to be on the cover of Madden, even if it you will get paid a lot. I would not be wanting to risk being injured. The Madden Curse is real, I tell ya!

I hate the Madden "Curse". It's not real, get over it. Plenty of stars get injured worse than this, and in more critical situations. Just look at Carson Palmer last year, if he had been on the cover of Madden everyone would have blamed the Bengals loss on the "Madded Curse". It's so stupid. People get hurt and it has nothing to do with the games cover.

I'm sure eventually they'll be a streak of 3-4 years where no one on the cover will get hurt, and I hope it happens just to shut up this curse talk.

I don't see what a game with a picture of a football star has anything to do with getting injured.

...sigh... Some people just have a sense of humor & just like to put people down... Sad.

Some people may disagree with me, but I think its sad to see all these big name football players get injured the same year they are on the cover of Madden.

I just hope, as Dionysus said, there is a multi-year streak where the player has a healthy season, aside from the sore muscles and scrapes they get every game.
