Nhl 07 (PS2)

I just wondered if there was anyone playing NHL 07 on the PS2 that I may be able to discuss some gaming issues/problems with.

Is it any good? If so I might be interested in buying. The NHL games are always very good. How is the gameplay?

Its really good on the 360 ( a little off topic ), but I am sure it is good on the PS2.

No do not buy this game Angus.

It is very poor.

I mean if you are looking for a game with new features don't buy it

It is the EXACT same thing aas 06 except you pass with the right analog it's gay do not get it for PS2 or x-box.

I have to disagree with you, although I did not play last years version. Maybe thats why it seems new and cool to me.

Okay how is it good?

Graphics are same.

Gameplay same

Shooting same

Passing different (wow)

It isn't a huge improvement

360 on the other hand

and shooting buttons are R1 and R2 now respectively.

Yes it's a fun game, don't get me wrong it's just not much of an improvement from last year. Online is very fun as well. I'm 8-5

It's all I have been playing for PS2 lately. Being an avid hockey gamer ever since EA began its domination back in '92, this is the BEST version yet. The passing is AWESOME and the general feel of the real thing is very close. The controls are brand new which may take some getting used to, but all in all I'm sure I will love it even more than I do now once I master it.
