Thanks for the idea Cylon. I'm going to start one as a RB too.

I started one with a RB just to see how everything works. I find it funny how they match you up with parents, although I doubt it will really affect you unless your father/mother was a hall of fame athlete.

I like how they have all the workouts, interviews, and even an IQ test. I went through most of the events, with the exception to the practices during the season.

I was drafted in round 3, Pick 3 by the Green Bay Packers. I was rated at an 83 overall, with 90 speed.

Playing as that player is harder then it sounds. A RB is easy, but I can only imagine how hard it would be to play as a CB or a Safety. I have yet to test out the route running and the catching, but I'm sure that is just as challenging.

So far, I think Superstar mode is a good addition to the game, although the bulk of my time will probably be spent online or in Franchise mode. Like Z3CH said, it will probably start to get boring after a season or two.

One side note about Madden in general: I wish the game would simulate the seasons faster. This has always been a pet peeve of mine with the Madden series, seeing how it can take several minutes to simulate one season, before advancing to the offseason.

Yea, I made my running back with huge arms. I maxed out the muscle in his arms, and he looked rediculous running the ball. He would have been suited for a linebacker much better with that type of build. But somehow, he had still had 90 speed, and 88 agility. With the type of build I made him, I figured he would have been more of a power back rather than a speed back.

Any idea how the game determines your initial ratings before all the workouts, and interviews?

I don't know, I don't know why I'm still 70 overall when I'm pretty sure I lead the team in tackles

Can anyone give me tips on the Leadblocking?

I can never use it good. Once I used it and it worked perfectly.

But when I use it now the guy just gets tackled easily.

Tips Please!

Also for the double jukes I need help when/where to use them. Sometimes they work out great, others horrible.

Also just for the cut jukes (L1 and R1 jukes) tell me when and how to use those.

Thanks so much.

What I usually do is bring up the "Play display" (this can be sen by holding R2) before the quarterback hikes the ball. If you are a FB or TE lead blocking for the running back, I usually run towards the hole that is suppose to be created, and pick up the first man I see. As long as you don't wander too far off from the hole that needs to be craeted, you should be able to pick up the right defender. This works well if you are selected as the player before the snap of the ball of course.

I haven't really used this feaute while the play is actually in progress though. I would probably start off by going into the options and setting the lead blocker option to "Slow down time." This will cause time to slow down when you switch players, allowing you to set up the blocker. After you get used to that, switch the clock back to real time between switching players. I'll have to experiment with this feature a little more while the play is live in order to give you some more tips.

The only real purpose I have found with the cut jukes are while running through holes on the left or right side of the offensive line. If I'm suppose to run between the T and the TE on the right side, I'll juke just as I hit exit the hole. This usually avoids the defenders running towards that point, and allows me to gain a few extra yards. It doesn't work all the time, and actually may increase your risk for fumbles, but it helps me some of the time.

I really don't find the cut jukes that useful while running out in the open, with one or two defenders running at you at an angle. I usually use the spin move for this, since it usually catch them running in the opposite direction.

EDIT: By the way, what is your user name on Madden Online? Add Cylon97 next time you are on, and we'll get a game sometime.
