Man, I hope so..... I have a stack of games , that I haven't even had time to play. I'm looking forward too my short week of work and a much needed five day vacation to achieve Video-Game Bliss.

I totally got owned by Walmart last night.

After watching the Chargers put foot to ass with Kansas City, I realized I don't have a football game for my prized 360. There's only one way to correct that, and that's a fresh copy of Madden.

So, here I am, 11:30 at night, running to Walmart so I can get a football fix. I make a bee-line for electronics, remarking to myself at how insanely packed it is for midnight on a Sunday at Walmart. I get there, purchase, and I'm out.

15 minutes later, I'm in my living room, giddier than a school girl at the spring formal. I peel that shrink-wrap off, than the security label stickers on the seams, and then finally remove the black security strip inside because I think the government secretly tracks you with them.

All the while, I never notice the destinctly different coloring of the box.

Yep, you guessed it, they gave me the Xbox version of the game. In my haste, I didn't double check the game before leaving.

So, my wonderful wife went and exchanged it today after she'd finished with work, so I'd have it and dinner waiting for me when I get home.

Balance is restored in the universe of my living room again, and life is good.

LMAO, dude that happened to me today, it was a little diffrent though, i buy Call Of Duty 3 and they stuff it in the bag then charge the money and they say if the pakage is opened no refunds unless its broken, so i'm ok then i leave and when i get home i notice its the XBOX version of the game so i'm like OH THAT SOB RIPPED ME OFF! 10$ and didn't even give me the right game!, tomorrow i shall go back and bash him! chinese s.o.b!

wow but thats some story there lol

Madden isn't all fun as i though it was, kind of hard to pass the ball and run, maybe i just suck

Is it just me, or does the camera angle on the 360 version differ from the camera angle on the older console versions? I played Madden 07 on my PS2 this past week, and the camera angle seemed totally different from the one on my Uncle's 360. Did anyone else see this also?

I haven't played a PS2 Madden in probably a year, so I really couldn't tell you. I think the camera angle is the 360 version is just fine.

This game is beautiful. I can understand why some people may hate the controls, they're a lot different than PS2 version's, and take some time getting used to. I love it though.

I haven't played a Madden game period in... years. Since before they monopolized the market.

I did pick this up today though, and I'm pleased I guess. It's nothing amazing, just Madden. I'm sure it'll be fine to play a couple times a week. Does seem to me like it will take some time to get used to, I'm still idiotic with the controller at some points, when I think "x" I hit "a" because of PS2 :\

Yea lawl in GRAW it told me to hit X and I hit A about ten time's until I looked at my controller

Not at all... I still speak in "PlayStation terms" when I tell someone what button does what on an Xbox controller.

You'll get used to it soon... shouldn't take too long.
