Amen to that brother. My friend has the 360 version and i cant stand it. I love my PS2 copy of Madden.

Yes, I detest how Carnell Williams looks exactly like Carnell Williams, how Jon Gruden looks like Jon Gruden. I hate the various ways you can select plays and Audibles from the Super User friendly control schemes. And the 360 Controllers please.....That ain't got no chords man, no chords for my friends to trip over and bust out there chicklets and interrupt my game play. But the thing that really aggravates me is that they didn't have to put in the fully detailed version of Chad Johnson's River Dance. I want to play my uninspired PS2 version that Chokes ~ Gags and Lags like a Prom Queen that just chugged a 5 Gallon Jug of Whiskey in 5 minutes.

No Ill Will, just pure 100% sarcasm. Playing Madden 07 on the PS2 is what inspired me to finally go out and purchase a 360 and play the game that should have been released on all the systems. ( Minus The Visuals of Course )

So what your saying is that you actually like the Xbox 360 version?? I can not stand it. This game has been a legend on PS2 for so long. The views, gameplay, and online format all suck. Not to mention no fantasy drafts. PS2 version may have worse graphics, but who cares. Its the gameplay that counts. And in that catigory it definately takes the cup

Actually, all things considered, it's been a "legend" (the Madden series) far before it was being created for play on a PS2.

I Agree, The Madden Series for all the current consoles are nothing new. Last Seasons QB Vision was lame and this seasons Run Blocker isn't much better. It seems like their just grabbing at straws and throwing in an extra lame mechanic so people don't complain that its just a roster update.The Game freezes on the PS2 after you make a tackle, and I can't have it. The 360 playbook menus is the Easiest and most Organized of any Madden I've played yet. Madden had a good run on the PS2, but now it's time for change. If I was Die Hard Madden PS2 fan I'd be a little upset, because all the attention to detail and gameplay went into the 360 Version.
I've heard alot of people make arguements about no Fantasy Drafts on the 360, I can understand that, but its a minor quibble to me. The online feature for Madden Purrs in Comparison to the PS2 online model, hands down.
I think that the gripe people have is that devotion lies with the PS2 version and they don't like change, Change is good. And this is a fine example of a change in the right direction.
