Damn MLB06 The Show is an awesome baseball game.
I like how if you have the ball and your going to tag a guy but can't reach you can push R2 and he will dive and attempt to tag him.
I also like when you smack a homerun, it looks cool.
Overall it's a great game, I bought it and am happy with it.

This is an amzing review....it almost makes me want to run out and buy it......   Way to describe your feelings as, "....it looks cool."
As for good ol' Piss Hands. The guy can hit, without a doubt, it just sucks that he was awful in the field (like the Bartman mishap or the 157 balls he misread off of the bat in Chicago). Oh well, the past is done and he is now a Giant.

Why bother? You already seem to enjoy "The Show"... if I didn't have a 360, that'd probably be the baseball game that I'd purchase.
But now that I am "spoiled" with high definition gaming, I could never go back to playing a game on my PS2.
(Not until God of War 2 comes out, that is...)

Does anyone else have MLB2K6 for the PS2? I am looking for a good challenege. I will take on all challeneges........like Creep.....he's just scared.

Lost another game to the CPU in my franchise yesterday... the San Diego Padres handed me my third loss on the 2006 season over in Wrigley Field. Mark Prior had a less than stellar outing... gave up a solo HR to their leadoff guy Dave Roberts, and the rest of the game was pretty much downhill from there. I almost came back to tie it in the bottom of the ninth, but Trevor Hoffman actually closed the door on me for the save... had the winning run on second base, and he struck me out. (Hurts the ego even worse when you lose like that...)
So I'm definitely liking the new difficulty levels that I have my game tuned to. Been a total challenge trying to beat teams now... just the way it should be, if you ask me.
Still waiting to get to the Cubs/White Sox series (from last weekend)... I have a fastball with AJ's ear written on it.
