ive been playing this all day... its like underground and hot pursuit had a baby, which is awesome. i was allways more of a fan of the hot pursuit games so im highly excited that NFS went back to its roots.

so far so good... but where the heck is online multiplayer? i think i remember having to unlock it in NFS:Underground, which i only rented, if someone could tell me id much appreciate it. id like to be able to race my brother and anyone else i know who gets the game.

There is no online multiplayer for PS2. Online for NFS: MW is only available for XBox live which sucks. :? Makes me wish that I had an XBox too just for certain games. :(

yea i just figured this out, which is F*CKING GAY. well anyway its still a sweet game. i dont know why online racing hasnt caught on more it just doesnt make any sense to me. i like how IGN and PSM mentioned online play... that was real nice of them to hype me up. f*cking bastards.

from IGN:PS2 - "Fifteen-plus hours for the single-player career mode, not counting tons of incidentals, online or other modes. Very healthy replay value, indeed."

and in PSM under the features box "Multiplayer: Split screen and online."

i just picked up the black edition for the ps2 today and all i can say is save your extra money and just get the normal edition, the few extras aren't really worth it in my opinion.

by the way, if anyone knows a good online strategy or tuning guide for this game i'd appreciate if you'd let me know.

im 60% complete with the game! I am racing the second guy in the blacklist! I am 3 in the blacklist! I am driving a Golf GTI how bout you guys?

currently i'm going up against the #2 guy and i'm driving a porshe turbo with at least 4 unique performance mods and this guy is still kickin my a55!

Learn to tune your car... you can't just add parts and expect to win, it's all about the tuning!

i was so close of beating him! but i hade no nitr left i hade to wait then he got it faster than me then BANG he took the nitro i got smoked!

That's all I need. You can obviously see which is my thunder and which is lightning.

I sell the other cars I get when I win a blacklist members car because I get good money from them. I think with my next blacklist won car I'll sell the GTI because my wanted rating is so high on it. :P

I don't need a viper or porshe for the top level blacklist guys. A finely tuned car for the right races can dominate anything! Especially if it's a Mustang!
