Tekken is for babies. I cannot belive someone said there was depth in it. You want a real 3D fighter, go master a full moveset in Virtua fighter, or the counter system in soul caliber.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
any 2d SNK brawler
SF:Alpha 1-3
Street Fighter 3
virtua fighter 4-5
Best hardcore fighters.

there are other fighters that i like as well or even more, but these games are for advanced players only.

You're kidding, right? Play as Eddy or Lili, and yes, it's an idiot's game. But take the time to learn intricate combos and counters with a real fighter and it's great. I found VF5 really boring.

Im sorry but tekken is too much a begginer game. Thats probably why you find VF5 boring.
there is more depth in a birthday cake than Tekken, and becuse of that there really is little for an experienced player take from. Most hardcore tekken players use the same 2 or 3 moves over and over, and Tekken tournaments are boooooring. Which is why you hardly see any.

Eddie is also insanely easy since all of his moves connect. Alot of new players use him and buttonmash, and think theyre playing so great when they win with him. But that game is just too simple for me, Just look at the movelists. Honestly i only think not all, but alot of people are still hanging with that game just becuse they were playing it when they were little, and whole heartedly pledge thier allegiance to it like fanboys.

When I was little, Tekken didn't exist. I agree with you to an extent, though. I play online and there are way too many people who button mash and use the same moves over and over. But those guys are not hardcore players, they're little schoolboys who would rather pwn n00bz and rank up than fight a good fight.
But I pride myself in not being one of them. I mix things up with as many moves, combos and counters as I can, and now and then you run into other people who play the same way. Seriously, just because idiots play like idiots doesn't make the game shallow, it makes the players so.

no i am talking about hardcore players. Have you ever been to a Tekken tournament? Its very repeditive becuse there are hardly any moves. the whole fighting system is stale, but it wouldnt be so noticable if the system was stable to begin with. There are loads of balance issues as well, like dark ressurection put me to sleep, aside from the graphics.

No, I haven't, but I still disagree. Anyway, let's just agree to differ, it's like arguing about why your favourite colour is better than mine.

look at some some of the best Tekken players in action and you wont disagree. And as for them not having any moves, is factual. Look at a movelist and you will see for yourself. Combos are also very limited as compared to other 3d fighting games. so when i say its lacking depth, its not an opinionated comment. But do you still enjoy and favor the game? sure. does it still lack enough depth for heavy competetive play? certainly, and thats not an opinion.

However about the gameplay being stale, that is my opinion, but after playing Tekken six like a month ago for a few hrs, it needs ALOT more innovation at this point IMHO.

Hardly surprising, since I think you're the only Taken 3 player in the world.

@StrictlyStyles: OK, you win.
