Kaido: Touge No Densetsu (PS2)
New game by Genki. It has more touge tracks than the previous Kaido Battle game. Around 15+ touge track, mostly all generation cars (all lancer evolution except IX).

I used to play Tokyo Extreme Racing all the time. Damn good game. How is this new one compared to TER? Do they sell this game in the states, maybe over the internet or somthing?

Okay. Kaido Battle is made by Genki. It's only in Japanese Version.

Racing Battle: C1 Grand Prix (Genki, JP Version Only) is about track and racing. Tokyo Xtreme Racers (Genki, Both JP and US) is about highway and speed. And Kaido Battle (Genki, JP Version Only) is about touge.

Hi, Marvin. We're American. We don't give a **** about Japan only games. Also, another thing we like to do here in the greatest nation on the planet is speak English. Better luck next time.

I have been playing this for a week now. Not very far advanced, but I have 9 cars. The drifting seems to be more realistic than Kaido Battle 2: Chain Reaction. I think they used the same physics engine perhaps, as Racing Battle C1 Grand Prix.

Well, I have a lot of cars now. My S2000, GT-R R34, FC, AE86, FD and more... I'm stuck in Hokkaido. The physics are different than the previous one. Also, the DFP (Driving Force Pro) works fine. It's hard to the drift but it's very fun. I love the tracks, but no Irohazaka. The cars are well made.

I play a lot.

Drifting was never my strong point, but I am finding this game more fun to play. I have only the three courses open at the moment. I am rather stuck at the short one against an Skyline R32 for a CA battle. I tried it and could not score enough points and saw the Skyline drive off into the distance.

I have been doing the Gymkahna Stage 10 CA to get cash. Having got the third sponsor from doing the Time Attack at the short course I am getting better money (259,000) but it still takes a while to save enough to buy things. My main problem with drifting is trying to avoid the walls. At least with the Gymkahna it doesn't matter if you hit anything.

My mst powerful car at the moment is a Mazda Axela with 267 HP. My latest acquisition was an S12 Silvia (I already had an S12 Gazelle).

Well, i was also stuck in CA with my AE85 (140hp Turbocharged I think). All i did was E-Brake at high angle so I can get easy win. I recommand you a 180SX as a first car. It's easy to drift with it. It's powerful too.

I have the base 180SX (1.8 litre 175 HP) that is available new from the start. That currently has 220 HP. At least I have unlocked the Turbo Advance event, so I can try the 180 SX or the Gazelle for that.
