Well, I've got some news for Carolina fans, like myself!

-Muhsin Muhammad is signed to the Panthers, 2 year deal
-David Carr released, thank god
-Foster released
-Rumors of a possible Kris Jenkins for Vilma trade.
-Hurney(GM) has said "I feel that Brett, Moore, and Delhomme know the system". Meaning the chance of drafting a QB is very low.
-Did I mention we got Moose back again? I'm f***ing STOKED.

Oh yeah..
As for the new season, I think NE will not be nearly as good as they were last year, Ravens will have a comeback season, the "Worst To First" trend in the NFC South will be end, and..

Carolina
Playoff contender

The only thing I want this year is for the Packers to keep up doing good.
I don't think I can go back to them never winning a game again.

Tom Coughlin will be getting a 4 year contract extension worth $21 million. I think he deserving of that going from being threatened to be fired at the beginning of the regular season to Super Bowl Champions.

Derek Anderson also rejected the Browns contract offer so he will now be a free agent. According to ESPN, the Browns are willing to turn their offense over to Brady Quinn. Anyone have any ideas of where Anderson will end up?

There were some guys talking about this at work yesterday. One said he thinks the Ravens might try to get him back. He also said he thinks Brady is a better QB than Anderson.

Dhani Jones is expected to resign with the Bengals sometime today. Justin Smith is still in talks with the Bengals, but is planning to start talking with the Vikings and 49ers here pretty soon. Losing Smith would be a huge blow to the already not so great Bengals defensive front. And the Bengals are preparing to switch to a 3-4 defense, which I don't mind, as long as they can keep 4 LBs healthy for 17 weeks.

Well, it looks like Anderson is staying with the Browns. Even if he didn't stay with the Browns, I'm not sure what team would have signed him considering they would have had to give up at least two high draft round draft picks.

ESPN - Report: Anderson gets multiyear deal from Browns - NFL

Do you think that it's Favre's last year, or do you think he'll be coming back again?

As for the Jenx trade, I approve, he wanted out. We got a 3rd and 5th from a low ranked team, so they'll be early picks.

The rumor was a huge rumor going around on Carolina huddle before the 5th and 3rd pick trade.
