NFL ain't so NFL anymore?
As you all know, this past season there was a NFL game played in London. These up coming season there will be NFL teams playing again in various parts of the world. I know that my team, San Diego Chargers, are playing the Saints in the same stadium that the Giants played the Dolphins in. The Buffalo Bills are playing 8 games over the next like 5 years in Toronto. I see a problem of the NFL becoming more than the traditional NFL. Of course, this is all about the money. Europe can not afford to keep NFL Euro so they need our NFL teams to help them with money..this is crap. It's not our damn problem that they can't keep their own football league. Does anyone else not like this idea? or maybe you guys do like it...idk..please share.

It really doesn't matter to me where any NFL game is being played. Sure, it's mostly about the money but people in Europe share the same love for football that we do. Why shouldn't Europeans be able to see there favorite teams play in Europe? Either way, the game is going to be played and recorded.

You want to know what would be fun as hell to watch...

an NFL game played on a floating island in the middle of the pacific ocean. There are no out-of-bounds, for if you try to run "out-of-bounds" you fall into the ocean which has been infested with fish blood so sharks are surrounding the playing field. I'd pay anything to go watch that...

I honestly think that's just plain idiotic.

"Let's send the top NFL players to Hawaii again so we can watch them run through a bunch of tourists and sharks."

Good idea for a video game, but not for real life.

The sporting idiots over here are trying to get our top league football (soccer) teams playing in a few other countries a handful of times a year, but a lot of fans aren't happy.

Since I'm not a sporting person, I couldn't care less but I think it's wrong that people pay hundreds or even thousands for a season ticket for their team, only to see them playing 3000 miles away every other week.

Either the prices of tickets should be reduced, or at least give season ticket holders discounted flights or whatever be able to see their teams.

I think all sports are changing to much and not for the good. They were great before the rules were changed and modified. Things that are not broken should not be fixed.

Buffalo Bills? Are they seriously even a team anymore?

Professional Sports is all about making money. They'll take it to any market that proves profitable.

I wouldn't be too concerned about American football in Europe though, because compared to rugby and hurling, it's tame.

I mean,i'd see the point to send the dolphins to play in london cuz they wanted a nueteral (sp?) fan base. now other teams? getting a little bit out there....it was maybe cool and exciting the first time but you can push it a bit too far..
