Were the Patriots Robbed of a Super Bowl Win?

Not sure if it will ever amount to anything but it looks like bulletproof evidence. I heard about this from a kid that saw this on the news this morning. I can't find anything on NFL or ESPN.com though. I hope they do address this though.

Great opinion, I like your well thought out ideas.
For the mature people on the forum I look forward to your thoughts.

Ok, fine:
The clock was managed well, if there was a REAL problem with the clock, the officials, the announcers, or SOMEONE would have caught it. You can't call a spectator with a kitchen timer "bulletproof evidence". There are 7 officials on the field, god knows how many in the review box, a clock manager, coaches, players, fans and announcers, if the clock was wrong, someone would have said something.
Get the ****ing salt-sucker off your lips. the Patriots lost fair-and-square. Shut up and get over it.

Hey to joined the quality posting group for once.
If you watched the video you would of heard that the announcers where confused about the time as well. It is not JUST this guy noticing it. I know the Patriots lost, they played like **** but with this video does it prove that they got robbed based on officiating error? Thats the question.

I honestly think the clock was right. Yeah, Ill admit that the refs stopped the clock when they shouldn't have, but that was what, 10-12 seconds? That made sense to me, everything else the guy said didn't. And I dont think the announcers were confused at the time, I think they were wondering why the ref stopped the clock. I think they stopped the clock to make sure the ball spot was right, which they can do.
Giants still would have won, just with 25 seconds left

The first thing that I would like to clear up is that I am not a fan of either the Patriots or Giants! What I do want to say is that anyone who thinks that the NFL conspired against the Patriots needs to check themselves into a mental ward for the few things that I will follow with.
This game was the highest rated Superbowl ever. This game had intrigue written all over it. In week 17, the Giants played the Pats as well as they could have and had a 12 point lead in the 3rd qtr. Yes, the Giants lost in week 17, but they had the Pats and let it slip out of their grasp! The Giants came into the Superbowl knowing how to beat the Patriots!!!!!!
Secondly, this guy who threw together this video wasted his time by posting this and I will quickly explain why! His first complaint was that the time was stopped after Brandon Jacobs' first down run. He wonders why the clock was stopped and then begins his wonderful conspiracy theory! If you watch NFL more than casually, you will know that the time keeper will stop the clock to be sure that the refs have the ball spotted correctly and bring organization to the field of play, both of which were done. Next, he compalins about the time stopping after Eli fumbled the ball and found their to be a 40 second difference between the play clock and his "real time". If you check with the NFL, anytime there is a fumble and the play is dead, the clock stops. Why? The refs and back judge need to determine who came up with posession after the fumble and determine where the ball was recovered.
At this point, I stopped watching the video due to the pure idiocy of an immature, poor sport, Patriots' fan who thought his team was "robbed" of a championship.
By no means will I call the Giants a better team than the Pats, but I will say that the Giants EARNED that victory. People can call it luck or that the Pats played like garbage. Any way you call or see it, the Giants did what they needed to do to win. They got in Brady's grill and tossed him to the ground time and time again. Look at the passes Brady missed..... There were a few passes that he overthrew Moss by about 6 yards and there was one bomb where he underthrew Moss by a good 10 yards. The Giants were on Brady and it effected his game.
I apologize for the long post, but it is people like the one in this video who irritate me. Do you hear me whining about Steve Bartman for the Cubs' collapse in 2003? Do you hear me blame anyone for the Bears' loss to the Colts in last year's Superbowl? Just buck up and enjoy the sport for what it is, ENTERTAINMENT! If you want set-ups and drama, go watch WWE!

Quite the stickler for the rules, this guy is. But he has a valid point, the clock was clearly off.
Personally, the game is over, it ended how it did. That's that. People make mistakes, and when it really comes down to it, it's a football game. Not the biggest deal in the world.
That's my opinion, fire a few people that didn't catch it because they hould have, but that's it.

Watching that video was more painful than jerking off with a sandpaper glove in the Dead Sea. I had to stop after the first exciting minute.
If the all-mighty, perfect, pretty boy, greatest team ever, cheaters needed the extra 20 or 30 seconds to beat a fairly inexperienced cinderella team than they deserved to lose. Like ALL sports...very rarely does any one play, mistake, blown call, etc make a difference. It is the position the TEAM puts themself in to make that one "boo-hoo" matter.
It's like everyone in Boston threatening to kill Bill Bucker when it was the schmucks in the bullpen that let that "one" play make the "difference".
Pretty boy Brady Bunchden could NOT lead his team down the field throughout the majority of the game. Their secondary could have recovered a game turning interception and a few fumbles could have been grabbed as well.
The Giants showed up, took the perfectionists by surprise, and completely DOMINATED the Pats offensive line. Brady had NO chance. The Giants Offensive line played AWESOME and Eli was given enough time to do what had to be done to stay in the game. The Giants won and the Pats were one stop away from winning.
Giants controlled the line of scrimmage for the game. The Giants won the game. If Brady had an extra couple of seconds, based on the way the Giant D showed up, he could very well have had his pretty face crushed by any number of the Giants who wanted the game more than the Pats.
So now that my intelligent, senior member, and mature post has been made...
GREAT JOB GIANTS FOR DOING WHAT I KNEW YOU COULD DO.
SORRY PATS FOR ALL THE SORROW FLOWING THROUGH YOUR PERFECT VEINS. It breaks my heart.
For all the Pats fans still crying.......watch the highlights of the Super Bowl you STOLE from the Rams. Then eat sh1t and go to hell!
GO BLUE!!!!!!!!
