Barry Bonds petition
Barry Bonds in my opinion should not be allowed to still play after the whole steroids thing, let alone hold the record, sign this petition if you feel the same.

Both of you go suck an egg. Do either one of you have proof? And also just think, Steroids where outlawed around 91' now think of how many of those record holders pre-1991, still hold records and used steroids but would don't admit it after they where outlawed.

Everyone knows he's a cheater. It's pointless to argue against it.
It's sad that true athletes from the past are going to get their records broken by cheaters.
It seems all record holders are from the past. For years and years no one could touch Aaron's record, yet it took a cheater down the road to do it.
In hockey, there is no player like Gretzky. No one has come close to beating his records. Why are all the good players from the past?

There are a lot of players that used steroids, but I can almost bet, ALMOST bet that Hank Aaron didn't. I, however, can bet that Barry did roids. IF you noticed, he went from skinny, to ripped, and then lost some of it again. They can't prove it though, and I know a lot of people will say that he never used them, or that there is no proof. In my mind, Hank will always be the home run record holder. I can't wait for Bonds to break it though, so all this crap about it will finally be over with.

Scuba, the good players from the past have records because because they didn't have as much competition. To play in todays NHL is rediculously hard. The physical strength you need to play is unbelievable.

If you're saying Gretzky was not up to par with today's players, you're dead wrong.
Gretzky was amazing. Period. Forsberg (a healthy Forsberg) is the best hockey player right now. However, no one compares with Gretzky.

No, no, no, you have me all wrong. Gretzky still is, and always will be, the greatest player of all time. No questions asked. Peter Forsberg will be up there somewhere too. Just not the greatest of all time. You can't say it was as hard to play back then, as it is now.

He may have or may not have thats not mine or any of your decisions to make. But you will need proof in order to get his name out of the record book.
And Pyro, I agree with you somewhat, but you can't say that in the NFL when OJ got 2000 yards playing only like 10 games was because of no competition, and Babe Ruth/Hank Aaron only got that many home runs because the pitching sucked, when they played nearly half the games they do now. And Michel Jordan, he was just a freak. Those 3 I just named did not have nearly half of the physical strength as many of the players in their respective game. They where just really good at what they did.
