Truthfully? It doesn't mean a god damn thing to most people, more so, you. However, some fans of sports like to see people take records with pride, and WITHOUT cheating. You might have a damn interest in this thread, but as you can tell, some people do.

Barry Bonds' job is to play baseball, and he is accused of breaking a record. Breaking this record, allows him to receive special attention on a daily basis.

Let's say you work with Jo-Bob as a delivery guy. You and Jo-Bob are in a race to see who can deliver the most couches. Company policy strictly prohibits the use of enhancing drugs, but you know Jo-Bob is using them anyways. He kicks your *** and breaks your old record for the most couches delivered in one day. With that record, comes a raise, and you just lost some money cause he took it over. How would you feel if you lost ONLY because Jo-Bob used steroids?

Excuse me for the horrid story, I'm tired.

lol, that story was too funny. Jo-bob, LMAO. But I agree with what Unkown is saying. Being a hard core sports junkie, I like seeing people break records the right way.

Unknown, do we know that Barry Bonds is in fact using performance enhancing drugs? No. There is no sustainable evidence that Bonds indeed used performance enhancing drugs. Rustier, you did see the record broken the right way because there is no proof of him using performance enhancing drugs.

He is in trouble with taxes or somthing an is going to be going on trial so he might be going straight to jail. Thats what I heard during the All star break.

I know for a fact he is NOT using performance enhancing drugs. However, I have STRONG suspicion and I am damn willing to bet that he USED them.

The record is just a number, he rightfully owns it. How do you know hank didn't use something to his advantage? The home run record is simply the number of home runs you've hit while playing Major League Baseball, nothing else. Wether he used drugs or not has nothing to do with the statistic. Period.
