He would obviously have stopped taking it if people knew about it and would start testing for it...

That was in 2003. Since then (assuming that if he stopped or w/e), he has hit 109 hrs, and one season he sat out most of the time. So apparently, he can hit regarless.

Frankly this whole debate is going nowhere. Noone is going to back down from their opinion because from what I've seen, they strongly agree with what they're supporting. Bonds has already broke it, wether he took steroids or not he's still the homerun champion.

I'm biased because I believe that without proof a man is innocent? Damn, who knew we lived in a Communist nation.

Bonds is showing his age, he can barely get the ball over anymore. That ball should've been in the bay by how hard he swung at the thing, but he's weaker than he used to be.

I was watching World News Tonight yesterday, and there was something about how Barry Bonds might be stripped of his Career Homerun and Single Season Homerun records.

Rumor has it, MLB, is finally deciding to go after Bonds, to try and see if he used performance enhancing drugs.

If he is found guilty, he will be stripped of them both. The single season record, will not be held by Mark McGuire either, as he damn near admitted to using the drugs.

Mark McGuire used them, and did a terrible job of trying to defend himself. "I think we should look at the positives and not the negatives" is what his words were at that conference that one instance. I'm glad they're getting the Bonds thing over with, I'm tired of hearing about it.

True... but once athletes stop taking steroids as often as they used to, their bodies are more susceptible to "breaking down" much easier than when they were, while taking steroids on a more frequent basis.

Which probably explains what's happened to a few of these elite sluggers over the past few seasons, once the testing got more involved... all of them... Bonds, Giambi, Sosa, etc etc.
