sources say that Dale Jr. may be going to Joe Gibbs Racing, he's supposed to make his decision within 10 days. I didn't see this coming, I was sure he was going to go to Childress like his father did.

I disagree. Joe Gibbs doesn't want the Budweiser Sponsor under his wing. Dale Jr. would be a fool to loose Budweiser as a Sponsor. I see him getting a nice offer from Richard Childress, but personally I don't see why Jr. doesn't start his own Empire. This would put the wicked stepmother in her place and the Sheep would surely follow.

I'm going to try to find the link that supports my theory and talks of Gibbs not wanting Dale Jr.

They say that he was going to be sponsored by Visa if he went to Joe Gibbs.

LOL Who would you rather be sponsored by Budweiser or Visa ???

I don't know about you and I can't speak for Dale, but I would stick with the Budweiser sponsor for Life. And I don't even like to drink Budweiser. The benefits and perks for Budweiser far outweighs what Visa would have to offer IMO.

I totally agree, and I also agree with him starting his own team. If Rick Hendrick racing offers you racing engines, basically the car itself, you take it and start your own team. Budweiser is surely a fan favorite over.... Visa. I mean, if you see a big red machine charging at you at 175 mph, who are you going to be afraid of, Budweiser, or .....Visa?

I would be more afraid of Visa. They can ruin your credit. [/sarcasm]

I think Dale would go to Childress. I wish he would go to Hendrick, but they made it clear they don't want him.

Possibly to Joe Gibbs also. JJ Yeley hasn't been ruining all that well since he signed last year. He's doing decent this year getting some top tens but a change might be in place soon for the 18 team.

As for Pocono today Denny Hamlin seems to have the nearly won already. He swept both races last year and was fastest in 2 of the 3 practice sessions. If everything goes in line for him today he should win today.

A sleeper that could have a good finish today is Chad McCumbee. He's driving the 45 car usually driven by Kyle Petty (he's broadcasting a couple of races). He won the ARCA race yesterday, which I was at, in a proving way. He cut a tire when running about 5th and went a lap down. His crew tapped up his fender and he was able to race his lap back. With 3 laps to go he passed the leader to win. He could possible get some good finishes in these races he's in the 45.

Jeff Gordon wins by rain... Nascar is being haunted by rain this year, can't seem to have a race without rain anymore.

Nothing like the ARCA race. That race was packed with side-by-side racing. I think the drivers were being too careful with the track having been washed off by the rain before the race.
