So the National Championship was won by Florida, and I must say it was a pretty sad game. After this bowl season I really feel it's time the NCAA makes a Division-1A playoff for football. I'm a little tired of seeing teams not in the right game, and teams having a 30-50+ day layoff and just coming out and playing like crap. Anyone else feel it's time to change things.

Hell yeah, a playoff would be great. I think Boise State had a serious chance to go with the way they played. I think BS - OSU would have been a better game anyway.

Judging by the way OSU played yesterday, you have no right to even include them in the thought process for another National Championship bowl game. If Boise State deserved to be there, it was over OSU.
A playoff/tournament would be a better judge of the best team, obviously, but I doubt it happens.
I don't see why they don't impliment another method of determining who the best is. Although every year it's debated on ESPN and every other sports news show with no major improvments. I guess as long as companies like Tostitos, Outback and the universities know there is money in bowl games, they will be here to stay. Too much money in it for schools, regardless of how pointless the General Mills "Lucky Charm" Bowl is.
