C-Mart is starting the season on the physically-unable-to-perform list, he hopes he can return after week 6. I also read there's speculation he could retire.

Yea, I just saw that on ESPN last night. I feel bad for Pennington since he basically has no team around him on offense with Curtis MArtin gone now. The Jets offense troubles will trace back to Pennington, even if it is not entirely his fault.

I seen a website. I forgot it but I will try to find it, it says that they will put Martain on the IR list. And they planned to cut him but realized that that would be such a stupid thing since he is who he is.

18 (21) Eagles 6-10-0 With a healthy Donovan McNabb the Eagles should be right back in the mix in 2006. That said, it's hard to see them being as good as they were in 2004 without T.O.
--------------------------------------------------------

Maybe they can be as good as they were in 2001, 2002 & 2003. The fact that they went to the Superbowl without the disease in the lineup seems to be something everyone wants to forget. The disease will have the "Tuna" wanting to retire when he has his first press conference complaining that Bledsoe spends more time on his back then throwing him the ball. The Eagles have upgraded their Offensive and Defensive lines and with Stallworth being added to the recieving corps. the deep threat is now a weapon McNabb will use to his advantage. Playing against @ Houston (week 1), @ San Francisco (week 3), Green Bay (week 4), @ New Orleans (week 6) and with the N.Y. Giants(week 2) and Dallas (week 5) in Philly (this will be the game that ends the career of the disease in Dallas) will help them get a quick start on the NFC East. It is going to be fun watching the circus somewhere other then the Eagles locker room, the disease has already started his game and the only losers are going to be in Dallas.

Not good enough to win the AFC East.

Pennington's gonna have a rough season. The worst part is, he's better than people give him credit for. I really hope the Pats trade Deion Branch to the Jets, so he has more than one good wideout to throw to.

I can't wait for tonight, although I'll probably miss the first half since I have to work. It will be interesting to see how the Steeler's passing game works out with Rothlisberger out. I think it will be a close game, and a defensive battle, but you never know. I'm just excited that football season is back, and I have Sunday afternoon all cleared for the football games!

I hate the Falcons also. Vick is so overrated.. I mean I can't STAND Vick. He can't hit the brightside of a barn.. if you know what I mean.. Falcons fans, I don't care. They suck.
