While I would totally agree with you, I think the Wings can take the Sharks. I personally am hoping Dallas can beat the Cancuks, so the travel distance isn't as far.

The Red Wings haven't looked anything near like they can. Then again, with the first round elimination of the past few years, I think they were nervous.



Magnum. Are you serious? You gonna diss Red Wings fans because they have fans everywhere? You KNOW the Shark-Tank would have A LOT of Wings fans in it. I don't think that gives you a reason to be like that though. I have a good reason to be a Red Wings fan, I live in Michigan. =]

Just because... I always hate the higher rated teams (as in they are almost always viewed as being one of the highest skilled teams). I never like the "great ones" in sports. I always prefer the underdogs. I know, I know, the Sharks are one of the best right now... but they are still an underdog considering they've never won a Stanley Cup. The Wings have won enough crap already... other teams need to get the chance to win too.

Magnum just because a team is good doesn't mean you can hate them. Who cares if other teams havent gotten a chance, it's hockey, you play to win, not to let other teams win.

Sometimes you just hate a team just beacause you do. I hate the Wings because they're in the Preds division and took the division from us this year.

I never said just because of that. I have my opinions... not everything has to have a reason. The one I posted above is the only one that is easy to explain. The rest don't have a reason and are my opinions...

And don't tell me about the fundamentals of sports. Especially coming from someone who doesn't even know the concept of a strong and thorough post. I realize that in order to win, you have to be the better team/player. It just annoys me that they have been that team for so long.

I dislike the Red Wings... let's leave it at that.

Alright man. That's what I was looking for. Something more than what you had before. I see your reasoning, like my strong hate for the Yankees.

Let's just say though, if it was the Sharks that always won. You'd never be sick of them.

I will say, the Sharks are a good team. I kind of hope the Red Wings face the Sharks in the second round. I always like friendly rivalries.
