Tucker had an interview with the the local Colorado media today. After hearing what he had to say I feel a little better about him coming to Colorado. It seems like he's going to be a hard working player who can offer us a lot both physically and scoring wise, hopefully he won't make his second home in the sin bin.

I can't believe the Flyers let go of Umberger. He's going to be a nice addition to the Blue Jackets, but he fit in so well in Philadelphia, I thought for sure they were going to keep him around.

Also, I watched a video on Peter Ledin the other day, the Avs prospect, and it looks like he's going to be a hell of a player. The kid can dangle, move the puck, and light the lamp, it's going to be fun to watch him this year.

****ing hell. The Flyers signed Arron Asham. I was really hoping that the Devils would re-sign him this year.

And I'm sure Blake has a few more years left in him. He has never really had any physical problems dealing with age or even from injuries. He's pretty healthy and fit for his age.

I still think its horrible since you didn't play as much of games as you do now then.

The Avs came to terms with Svatos. He just signed a 2 year contract worth $4.1 million. I'm stoked that we re-signed Svatos, only bad this is now his and Wolski's contract expire in 2 years, but I guess we'll worry about that 2 years from now.

Still waiting to hear news on Sakic and Foppa. Hopefully they'll each give us at least one more season. IMO, I still think Foppa has another good 2-3 seasons left in him.

The Red Wings signed Hossa from the Penguins, and they Red Wings resigned Val Filpulla? I think that's the spelling, haha.

I'm happy to see that Val has signed for a few more years. He's young talent and he still has time to get even better.

Mike Richter, Brian Leech, Brett hull, and Cammi Granato were elected to the Hall of Fame as the 2008 class.

I'm glad to see Richter and Leech get in, and had little doubt that they would make it. I loved watching them both play, especially Leech back in his prime. It was unfortunate that Richter had all those injury problems, and when the Rangers snubbed Leech by trading him to the Maple Leafs, but despite all of this, they both got what they deserve in a HoF spot.

Old news here but has anyone noticed the Avs have resigned Sakic to another year?? All we need is Roy to come out of retirement and BLAM.... Lord Stanleys Cup is within reach. LOL.

I noticed that, although I'm more concerned about whether Mats Sundin comes back for another season. There have been rumors that the Rangers are very interested in signing him, but hopefully he chooses another team. The Rangers don't need another over-paid, "I was a super star 10 years ago," close toretirement player looking to make bank from the high paying franchise.
