Yeah I watched 3 of them. If lappy would have taken out franzen then maybe you guys woulda had a shot but no. They had a good run.

Franzen was an animal that series. The entire Detroit team had a good series and I tip my hat to them.
Had the Avs not been riddled with injuries I know we could have beat the Wings. Not having Forsberg is 3 of the 4 games killed us. Wolski got hurt, then Hannan, then Staz, and Smyth. We'll have another run next year.
Detroit is looking good, I think they'll make it to the Stanley cup finals, but the Penguins are looking down right amazing. I think it's gonna be Penguins and Wings in the cup, the series will go 4-2 Penguins.

My internet has been messed up lately so I couldn't post here.
If I could, I would have just ranted, so perhaps it's best I wasn't able to. Not much more needs to be said.
Theo had the flu, but it's a wonder why he was starting even while throwing up.
The Sharks were able to pull a win in OT last night. If they win game six I think they can easily win.
If we hadn't of had so many injuries, we could have won. It's a shame we were plauged so late in the season/playoffs.
Good run, boys.

Yea, I missed the Sharks game because of senior prom (which was worth it), but I heard the game was pretty good.
If the Sharks make a comeback, I will have to go all out on my truck for the rest of the playoffs.

Wow, the Sharks are going into triple overtime... I don't know if I'll be able to stay up to watch it even... I have strep throat and it's killing me.
And the Sharks lost in the fourth overtime. Amazing game... the Sharks really deserved a win after all the work and heart they put into the game.
But I can't wait to see Dallas get their asses handed to them by Detroit.

I remember watching a game a few years ago, whenever the last time the Wings won the Stanley Cup. It was in the finals and one of the games went past midnight. I never saw who won the game since I went to bed before it ended. At least I didn't have strep, or I'd have been in bed hours before.

As said before (however many pages back), the Wings usually blow it in the playoffs no matter how good they were in the regular season, but I think they've played rather well this postseason. 4-2 (I think) series win in the first round and a sweep in the second round.
But as a fan of Detroit sports, I'm excited to see the Wings move on. And the Pistons.
*EDIT*
Found a somewhat interesting article that was on the Red Wings site. It's about the history of the Red Wings vs. Stars.
Detroit Red Wings - Features: Season review: Red Wings vs. Stars - 05/05/2008
What I'm getting from it is the Wings have never lost to the Stars in the playoffs.

Mag, who do want to win the Cup?
I think I would like to see Detroit win the Cup this year, mainly because I cannot stand Philly, Pitsburgh, or Dallas. I'm actually surprised that they are doing this well and maintaining their composure this deep in the playoffs (unlike past years). It really feels like this is their year and they seem to be levels above everyone else, much like their regular season record suggested.

Uhh... anyone but Detroit or Dallas basically, lol.
I want Detroit to destroy Dallas though. I hate Turco and Modano so much.

Yea I have very little interest in the remaining teams. I like to see different teams win the Cup, so that basically leaves Pittsburgh as the only team not to make it/win the Cup in the past couple of years.....but I'm not a huge fan of Crosby (whiner) and the fact that they beat out the Rangers.
I love to watch Datsyuk and Zetterberg play though....they dominate the ice with their skating and moves.
