The game last night was amazing. I had great seats just 10 rows from the ice, just where I like to be.

If anyone missed the third period save Nabby made on former Shark Nolan, you need to see it.

The puck was passed across the ice to Nolan, who had an empty net. He took the one-timer and it looked like a clear goal, but Nabby dove across the net and made a beautiful glove save.

After that save, play couldn't continue because Nabby was given a seven- YES, SEVEN- minute standing ovation, with cheering and chanting of his name. The place was so freaking loud. Even after the game walking through the halls it was impossible to hear with everyone yelling and screaming.

Once we got outside, it was even louder, now that people had access to their car horns.

The Avs are ahead of the Wild right now, 1-0. The goal was scored by no other than Peter the Great. Awesome.

The second period is about to end, too.

Alexander Ovechkin got his first playoff win and it couldn't get much sweeter as he picked up an assist and the game-winning goal.

LOL, shut your mouth about not getting a break, you obviously didn't watch the first game. Avs should have won 4-2, but ****** officiating gave you guys a chance.

In this game there were TERRIBLE calls. Stupid penalties that were given to the Avs but then when the Wild did something it was overlooked. For example, Forsberg got his stick up accidentally and given a high sticking penalty, but the Wild player punched Foppa in the face and nothing called.

So many times when the Avs went for a breakout pass or an attempt to clear the zone the ref kept the puck in the zone. GET THE **** OUTTA THE WAY!

Thank god were out of that **** hole people call the excel center and heading back to Denver.

The Wild catch plenty of breaks. I have never seen more biased games when watching the Wild.

The first game should have been 4-2, Avs.

We tied it up with a PP goal from Hejduk to send it to OT.

Did you watch the game last night, it was ridiculous. I saw at least 5-6 penalty's on the Wild that weren't called. On one occasion a Wild player literally tried to tackle one of the Avs. Forsberg and Sakic were raped all night with high checks to the face and on a couple occasions Forsberg kept getting punched in the face every time he would get close to the puck. They called EVERYTHING on the Avs, the officiating in the first 2 games made me sick.

Also, I know sometimes the refs get in the way of the puck but last night was just unreal, they were always right in the Avs way. A few times when the Avs went for breakout passes or attempts to clear the zone the ref was right there. The worst part about it though was they mad no attempt to get out of the way of the puck.

Thank god were going back to Denver for the next 2 games.

piss and moan all you want about the officiating, it wasn't like the Avs didn't catch any breaks like the high stick to the face at the end of the second. Now it's off to the hell hole you call the pepsi center.

It was no high stick, he was so low to the ice anything would have been a high stick.

You still need to have control of your stick at all times. Even if a guy lifts your stick and it hits him in the face, it's a high stick. Sounds dumb, but it's how the rule works.

I know that, but the Wild player was bent down so low his face about about eye level with the Avs player shins. The Av player was going for the puck, and god only knows wtf the Wild player was doing that low to the ice, I don't see that being a high stick.

Also a bit off the high stick topic, your not allowed to at any point throw a punch unless both players agree to a fight. More than half the time when Forsberg was on the ice at the end of the play the Wild were throwing punches. Nothing was called on the Wild all night except maybe 2 penalty's, while the Avs kept getting raped with stupid penalty's.

Don't mean to sound bitter, although I know thats probably exactly how I sound, but it was a good first two games. I know the officiating should have been better but thats done and over with. Like I said a few times, thank god were heading back to Denver.

Well it still hit the guy in his face. It's above his waist line, so that's a high stick.
