You're right. Ending a man's career is spilled milk. Sorry, guys.

I'm sorry, but no one really knows the answer to this, no matter what the media has said. Yes, it would be a nice thing for Bertuzzi to apologize in public, but not all things are picture perfect in this world.

Why, because he "Purposely shot the puck at a player" during last years playoffs? The man is one of the top 3 players in hockey. I really hope you're joking.

When you play with the big boys you have to know that anything (as good or bad as it may be) can happen at anytime. It's a risk everyone takes. This time it happened to one of your Avs. Career ending hits and injuries are something you have to know can happen.
I'm really not sure what I can say here.

In an interview with Moore, he has said that Bertuzzi has never apologized. I'll believe Moore before a coward like Bertuzzi any day.

He's definitely not one of the top three. He's done other things that I have seen. Combined with what I saw in the finals last season, he's not great. His shot at Neidemayer (probably butchered that name) was disgusting.

He may not be in the top players in your opinion, but statistically, he is (I think?).

Stats speak louder than opinions ever can and going by what they show, Alfredson is a top notch player even if people hate him. Every season he's right up there on the leaderboards. I'll always take Jason Spezza before Alfredson though.
This season I think people will get to know the name Zach Parise. I believe he started the same season as Crosby and just got overlooked due to Crosby's "hype". This year Parise will step up and prove to be a new force.

Well, I didn't know that because like BamF said, the incident didn't really get much coverage on the East coast after it occurred.

He only led ALL players in scoring in the postseason last year, with five points in five games in the Stanley Cup Finals. I guess that isn't good enough?

Don't get me wrong, I know that, but to say it's no big deal is insane to me, whether or not it was or wasn't an Av.

Don't forget about Stastny. He got the season's first hat-trick and has an average of more than two points a game. He's tied for first, if I'm not mistaken.

My statement was misleading. I know he's a good player, but there's more to it than just that. He's not an overall great player to me, if that makes sense.

Sharks play the Predators tonight. I was originally going to watch this at home, but when I woke up this morning, my dad tells me that he bought some tickets off of eBay. What a great way to start my Saturday off.

Even though Bertuzzi attacked him from the back, Moore is the coward. In the videos Bertuzzi tried to make it into a real fight and Moore kept running away, Bertuzzi got pissed and cold cocked his ***.
Yes, it suck. But it is a physically sport. And Bertuzzi got what he deserved, a huge loss in his wallet, and a very long suspension.
