College Football Season

Well, with the season opener just a about a month away you guys have to be thinking about your favorite college team. I just want to know what your predictions are for your favorite team and others.

My team has to be the Wisconsin Badgers. Last year, we were doing great until the last half of the season when we lost 3 games, ending up 10-3. This was a big disappointment to us fan's because we were in contention for the Big Ten title, but Penn State took that :/.

This season we are getting a new coach (Brett Beliema former Defensive coach, led the badgers to a #1 ranked defense last year) so I am very excited for our defense side of the ball which will be a powerhouse on the field. The offense lost the great Brian Calhoun, but kept John Stocco. Who will hopefully put up the same great stats as last year, plus some. So to any of you non-badger big ten fans.... hide.

As for the rest of the NCAA, USC will be good as always since they are a beast at recruiting. But I don't think it will get them undefeated and to the championship. Texas lost a few good players, but will still be good. Reluctantly, I think Penn State will be good again this year. Joe Pa brought in alot of young blood to happy valley, and alot of the freshmen were proven last year so Penn State has a couple of good years to come yet.

Its not a one man show at Texas!
I predict top 7 for the Longhorns.

2. Ohio State
3. West Virginia
4. Oklahoma
5. Florida

I don't think buckeyes will go to the championship, but they have a good chance. There #4 right now.

The only thing college football is that it means its getting closer to college basketball season baby!

Go cats. kentucky that is. But we're terrible so I manage to watch the first five minutes of the game, thats when we play good.

If LSU doesn't do what Tennessee did last year, and switch between two quarterbacks, and Broussard heals to 100%, they could be looking at a NC contender.

As for my season ending top 5:

1. Ohio State
2. West Virginia
3. Notre Dame
4. LSU
5. Oklahoma (Would be Flordia but I have LSU beating them)

Being a fellow UW fan, I'm lovin the praise. I see Wisco winning 10 games, upsetting Iowa @ Iowa City. I'm giving the loses to Penn St., and Michigan (Ann Arbor's a Hore!!). Wisconsin Badgers 2006 Big Ten Champs or share of title. GO BADGERS!!!
