i support Barry Bonds 100% and i am Happy that he took the record. but now all i see is the media stopping him from being considering the greatest hitter ever because of the whole steroids issue. everyone is innocent until proven guilty. theres no proof behind the accusations so i am very disappointed on how they are handling this. Bonds slugs over 800 homeruns lets say. Steroids or not thats pure talent. The guy is not on the stuff now and yet is still huge. and is going to hit 30+ homeruns this year for someone his age. That is Talent

Whats that legal phrase everyone uses so often.. "innocent until proven guilty", right? There is no PROOF that he used steroids. No CONRETE evidence, just here say and naysayers that "nobody can get that big" and blah blah. Barry is fat, not muscular. People get fat when they get in their 40's. Its not going to change anything to ***** about it, so people might as well gtfo it.
But bottom line, you can't say he used steroids until there is proof, otherwise your just being an ignorant fool and your opinion really has no weight in the matter.

One of the few MLB games I've seen was KC vs Seattle, when Griffey was on the team. We were in the upper deck (well, 2nd if KC has 3) behind home plate, and Griffey hit a foul ball up in front of us. My brother and several people fought for the ball, but my bro didn't get it. Was cool though.

This sounds like trying to find a needle in a haystack, considering I don't know WTF you look like in the first place.

You're right about it being a needle in a haystack. I know briefly what Irish looks like, BUT the Phillies are currently playing and we all know......

Got my way on to the video screen, IDK if it made TV.
As for the game, it was exciting. 1-0 Reds win off a Griffey RBI that scored Hatteberg. The Reds played some crisp defense, making numerous diving/jump catches and stops. Only ones I can remember are Griffey make a sliding catch on a shallow pop to right and a jumping catch at the wall. Brandon Phillips went 0-4 at the plate but saved a run with a diving catch behind second base and he doubled up a runner who went too far from second. Phillips also had a nice diving stop to get the last out of the game. Closer David Weathers had a very nice barehand grab on a comebacker. Watch for that in the highlights for sure.
Reds also hit quite a few of the very top of the wall that ended up being long singles or doubles.
There were actually a few Dodgers fans there. Nomar got a nice round of applause from both sides.
Easton, 10,000 plus losses > EVERYTHING??

Except I didn't go to the game wearing that, but it was tempting, believe me.

Yeah, I agree. I'm against, as I think he used them. I know Ox, innocent till proven guilty. When in the bloody hell has the US ever stood by that quote? haha, NEVER!
I heard from my mother that they had a thing on ESPN last night, showing his homerun projectory thing. The measured the amount of homeruns he averaged per season, up until the year he is suspected of using drugs. His Homerun average skyrocketed around the time he is suspected, and the averager per year jumped around twenty homers or something. They say, if he hit like he did before he was suspected, he might be 150-200 homeruns away from the record. They also stated, that when most players are losing their power and bat speed, Barry's was growing at a rapid pace.
As for something else, The Tigers cannot seem to get anything going here lately. They lost nine out of ten and then win two. Then go and lose again today. They are getting town apart in the first inning and they need to stop that.

Welcome to the wonderful world of a Cubs fan... after being so hot the past few weeks, it seems like they can't do anything right. Coincidentally, this foolishness all started once Soriano tore a muscle... <sigh>
