The Mets lose again tonight against the Twins 6-2. I'm glad I haven't been around lately to watch all these games, otherwise I'm sure I would even more frustrated.

In other news....Sammy Sosa hit his 600th home run tonight.

In a way it is, but the Rockies really aren't that bad of a ball club. Afterall, they currently have a better record than the Yankees, even though they play in the National League, it still counts for something.

Out of 12 games, those 6-7 pitchers are high up in the ranks. Not to mention the teams they play/have played are all atop their respective divisions with the exception of the Twins who are 36-34. With that being said, its safe to say they're running into some tough opposition atm.

Julian is 4-4 with a 4.97 era, I'm not considering that bad though.

Taveraz isn't bad, but he wasn't one of the pitcher I was meaning as amazing. Some of them really aren't, but few of the pitchers they've faced so far are rollovers.

sure, they are doing good this year,

but they really havent impressed me much up until now. they havent been this good since their inaugral season in '93.

living in Denver, you witness how much the Rockies have disappointed people the past some-odd years. whenever they get somebody good, they end up trading them off, with the exception of Todd Helton.

I am glad Helton finally is getting the wins he deserves.

You call it funny, I call it a coincidence.

In English class we would have called that irony on the simple fact he reached a milestone while playing against the team that he had been playing for when he became a household name in the MLB.
